In Club Dead (Southern Vampire Mysteries, Book 3) we have a fast paced (a bit too fast paced) race through her urban fantasy(?) world. This is the most Anita Blake-like book in the series so far (so much happens in so little time, more torture and sex – though those are nowhere near AB levels). The characters remain penciled in, and they’re getting a bit boring that way. But it was still fun.
For the semi-disguised spoiler comment, see below.
I don’t get it, the mystery of the body is resolved by having a vampire enter the apartment uninvited, no? Isn’t that not only series-impossible, but explicitly called to mind 3 times within this book alone? How could that mistake be made?

Bubba is different kind of vampire. Because he’s special he doesn’t have to be invited in.
